3rd Child-THOMAS CHILDRESS. 1768-1839 Thomas was born in NC or SC in 1768. Thomas died in 1839 in Newton, Ga. Wife - Mary (maiden name unknown) The date and place of their marriage is unknown.

4th Child-JESSEE CHILDRESS. Jessee was born in NC. The date of birth and the date and place of death for Jessee is unknown. Wife - Cox The date and place of their marriage is unknown.

FATHER'S NAME - Robert Childress 1732-1790 was the son of William Burton Childress Jr. (1708-1825). William died in (Henrico) Va. The date of death for William Jr. may be incorect since all four of this children were born after 1825.

GRANDPARENTS - Robert Childress 1732-1790 was the grandson of WILLIAM BURTON CHILDRESS SR.(1685-1726) and Elizabeth Hobson.
