Athens Banner - July 1940
The relatives and friends of Mr. C. W. Kidd of Colbert Ga., Mr. Jewel Kidd of
Los Angeles Cal Mr. and Mrs. Hillyer Kidd of Auburn Ga, Mr. Everett Kidd of the
United States Navy, and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kidd of Athens are invited to
attend the funeral of Mr. C. W. Kidd Thursday morning July 25, 1940 at eleven
(11:00 ) O'clock
from the graveside in the Kidd Family Cemetery at Colbert Ga. DR J.C Wilkinson
pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate Mr. George Nash,Mr Bill
McKinnon,MrGeorge T Burpee, Joe Hardeman , Mr. Ed,Mr Ed Hart and Mr. Clarence
Berryman will serve as pallbearers and will please meet at McDorman-Bridges at
ten fifteen (10:15)McDorman-Bridges

Additional Comments:
C.w Kidd ( Clyde Kidd ) son of Martha (Mattie) Elizabeth Cunningham Kidd and
William W "Bud" Kidd. Joseph N. Kidd & Amanda Everett Kidd were the parents of
William W. Kidd.
