I am searching for the burial sites of Robert Green DUKE (born 15 June
1793) and/or Violet WALDROP DUKE (born 27 Nov 1798). They were married
in Putnam County 5 November 1818. It is believed that Robert died
(according to service records) 11 May 1868 in Clayton County. Violet
is reported to have died before 1884.

Does anyone have any information regarding this couple and why they
were married in Putnam?

I have heard that their son John Monroe DUKE (born June 15, 1822)
died in 1899 and is also buried in Clayton County, possibly at
Bethsaida church. Does anyone have any information regarding him
and where the church might be located?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
