As Carol C-H reminded the GATroup list, April is Confederate History Month in Georgia. If you have an ancestor from this county who fought for the CSA, or was in any way involved with the Confederacy, please send a post to this list about him/her. Please include what you know about his/her life and death, family, service record, and how you obtained any documentation you have about his/her involvement in the war.

PLEASE use his/her name as the subject line of your post, rather than just hitting "reply". If you have more than one ancestor FROM A COUNTY who was involved with the war, please send a separate post about each of them.

Maybe some of you will climb a brick wall.
