Hi, Ann. That's the first I have heard that Sarah Grinage Walton remarried after William died. All I have are the brief notes about her will.....

WALTON, Sarah s/July 30 1833. p/Nov 23 1833 (nee Sarah Grinage, widow of William Walton, Rev Soldier) Daughters, Blanche Woods, Frances Cartledge. Son Jesse, Grandson John W. Ramsey, Exr. James Cartledge. Witness: Isaac Ramsey, George O'Neal and Hezekiah Baston.

Mrs. J.'s Bible notes say that William died Aug 1, 1818, and Sarah died Oct 30, 1833.

I know about Richard Callaway that married Frances Walton, daughter of Robert Walton & Frances Sherwood, in 1745. I have made notes about their children, but stopped there….. but I don’t know anything about Eli. Tell me more about him. And I know about the Lamkin’s – but tell me more about the Lumpkin’s.
