Found an article in the Coweta Courier, Vol 17 Number 2, Winter 1997,
from the Coweta County Genealogical Society quarterly publication with
except as follows:

This was taken from a four page descendency chart which was too long
for the quarterly publication:

" William Odom Sr. b. 8-8-1777 in Anson County, NC, died 2-15-1856 in
Walker County, AL; married Jane Turner b. 5-6-1778, d. 3-1-1855 in
Walker County, AL. Children:
Lucinda "Lucy Odom b. ca 1806, married Joseph Adcock 3-6-1829 in Walker
Co., AL;

William Odom Jr. b. 1810 in GA, married 1) Sarah Winkle in Walker
County, AL
, married 2) Matilda Winkle 1828 in Newton County, GA;

James L. Odom b. 9-9-1811 in GA, married 1) Mary E. ? ca 1836 in GA,
married 2) Mahala E. Plylar ca 1848; died 4-1-1906 in AL;

Lydia Odom b. ca 1814 in GA, married ?, first child born in Coweta
County, GA

Honour Odom b. 1817 married Warren Adcock ca 1838 in GA

Jacob Odom b. 1-6-1819 in GA, mararied Elizabeth Adcock ca 1839 in GA

David Odom b. ca 1821, married 1) ? and they had a son William Odom born
ca 1843 in GA; married 2) Permelia Pass ca 1854 in GA

John J. Odom b. ca 1825 in GA, married 1) Martha Woods, married 2)
Nancy Wilson ca 1847 in GA

Nancy Odom b. ca 1827 in GA, married Stewart Barrentine."

The Coweta County Geneaological Society has the four page decendency
chart at their library. Their address is PO Box 1014 Newnan, GA 30264
