The Georgia Enterprise, Nov. 11, 1887
Mr. Joseph W. Peek one of our most popular and energetic young business men,
was married to Miss Alice Dillon, a beautiful and accomplished young lady of
Campbell, Hunt County, Texas, at the residence of the bride's mother, on
Thursday, Nov. 3, 1887. The young couple had been corresponding for fifteen
years and decided a short time ago that they would no longer remain apart, but
would become "one" like unto "Two souls with but a single thought, Two hearts
that beat as one." We wish for friend Joseph and his charming companion a
pathway through life strewn with the fairest flowers and may they ever be
prosperous and happy.
