The Schley County News Friday, May 27th, 1910
LORINE LESTER DEAD
The friends of Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Collins sympathize with them deeply in the
death of their little niece, Lorine Lester of Montezuma, on last Wednesday.
Lorine was nine years old, and just completing her second year in school,
never having missed a single day or ever getting an imperfect mark. She spent
a portion of her last summer vacation in our town and endeared herself to
all. Pretty, bright, happy, winsome, it seems too sad that she had been taken
from her loved ones, but an allwise Father needed her to blossom in his realm
above, so he plucked her in her youth and beauty, and we doubt not that is
numbered among His rarest and fairest flowers. To the bereaved ones, we
tender our sincerest sympathy and trust that a loving Father may comfort them
in their hour of need.
