I saw your message and I am related to the Watson and McCranie families.
The name Make is short for Malcolm. My great-grandfather was Malcolm Watson
who married Sarah Barbee. He was called Make. Joyce Cason Pheil

If I am not mistaken, Mark McCranie was a brother of Dave McCranie around
Milan Ga. and Dave threw him under the train, and made it look like it was
an accident, like he was drunk and fell under the train, but after my great
great grandfather Henry Manning Powell shot Dave McCranie in July of 1919,
the truth came out by one of their other brothers who told that it wasnt an
accident. The father of Mark and Dave was Make or Mate McCranie. I have more
information and a picture of Make or Mate on a horse. My email is
