Obituary - H. P. Kincheloe Sr.
The funeral of Howard Preston Kincheloe Sr., 72, of Route 1, Leesburg, who
died Thursday, will be conducted Saturday with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Prince William County, Va., Mr. Kincheloe had lived in Albany
since 1946. He was a veteran of World War II, a retired civil service employee
and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Hysler Kincheloe of Leesburg; three
sons, Howard Kincheloe Jr. of Franklin, Tenn., and William Kincheloe and Ralph
Kincheloe, both of Albany; four daughters, Mrs. Shirley Benford of Albany, Mrs.
Helena McCathern of Santa Clara, Calif., Mrs. Rita Wiggins of Brunswick and
Mrs. Barbara Siler of Charlottesville, Va.,; two brothers, Ed Kincheloe of
Alexandra, V a., and Grover Kincheloe of Washington, D. C.; two sisters, Mrs,
Margaret Gordon of Annandale, Va., and Mrs. Ruby Hudgens of De Land, Fla.; 12
grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
