Sorry Tara but there isn't a Jeremiah Walters listed.
Z. J. Odum is listed on this file.

All of those sexton records up to 1904 can be seen at:

That's kinda what I figured happened - but until I have an address it
was just a logical assumption.

Sexton's records seen here at the following page for Aug 1880.

I saw the M. Fields in the file and also assumed it was Miles - the
dates fit. His first son-in-law is also listed:
http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ga/dougherty/cemeteries/sexton6.txt
October 1875 Walters, J 66 28th blank
white m city
(Jeremiah)
There are several other FIELDS and WALTERS listed in these files but I
do not know how they connect - yet.

Mrs. C. E. Odum lived in the city (Albany) 81 years old white female died of
pneumonia, doctors name not given, lived on Tift St. died 13th buried the 14th Feb
1909 in Oakview cemetery. Hope this helps.

That would be her! I had her death as the 14th - but as it was
second-hand material the 13th works just as well. :-) Do you have a
burial listing for either Jeremiah Walters or Z. J. Odom/Odum? New
information since my previous email shows that his first initial was "Z"
- not "J" as I had it.
Thank you so much for your help!!
