Joan, due to your help to me several months ago, I have finally been able to
determine that James G. Vann and Elizabeth Miller Owens Vann were the
parents of Savannah Vann who m. Tom Millirons of Randolph Co. GA. They
married in April 1895 in Early Co. Savannah is from the second marriage of
James. He first married Matilda Collier. I would like to have a copy of this
list of births and deaths for the Vann's in Blakely if you don't mind. I am
at a dead end again with James as I was for so long with Savannah and am
trying to put together file of Vann Families of FL, GA, and AL to see if
they tie together. So far, many are unrelated as I have found no ties to my
group. I responded to Betty yesterday and she has generously sent me some
information on her line and some of the names seem similar with dates near
my ancestors. This would be wonderful information to have and I believe most
helpful.
