If you are fortunate enough for your local library to subscribe to HeritageQuest's online census images and books, the Ebenezer Record Book (Linn 1929) is available for on-line viewing or downloading (in PDF format.)

Jerry Braddock has shared this information about Jefferson (Ebenezer)
Church....
He had copied some information from the book he listed below about his own
family.

Has anyone else used this book --- or know where it might be available.
Sounds like a wonderful find!!

Effingham County
Jefferson (Ebenezer) Church
Ebenezer Record Book: Containing Early Records of Jerusalem Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Effingham, Georgia, more commonly known as Ebenezer
Church. Translated by A.G. Voigt. Savannah: Charles A. Linn, 1929. (Note:
Contains Baptisms, 1756-1781, and Burials, 1755-1800) (#187/65)

If you could find a copy of that book, you could put all its information
online.

Following is an excerpt from my book about the marriage.

July 16, 1769
The Jerusalem Church building of the German settlement of Ebenezer, 20
miles up river from Savannah, was built of brick two years ago to replace a
wooden structure. It will one day be the oldest public building in
Georgia. The marriage of John Cutler Braddock, now twenty-five years of
age, to Lucia Cook, daughter of James and Sarah Cook of St. Matthew's
Parish, is recorded in one simple line in the church's register:
John Braddock and Loucy Cook were both lawfully joined in marriage July 16,
1769.
