In piecing your information together with mine, I have come up with this: I
believe Cynthia Coleman was a daughter of R. Elisha Coleman (1784-1860) and
his first wife, ____ Whitfield; they were from Burke County, where she died,
but Elisha remarried and died in Emanuel. I have that John Kirkland married
Elizabeth Lane December 14, 1779 (don't have county, probably Emanuel).
This would make Abraham Lane Kirkland a brother of your Irvin. I know this
is sketchy, but it's all I have and maybe it will help you.
