Hello folks,

I've put together the following information in the hopes of figuring out
how this FIELDS line fits into my husband's line.

If anyone has any information to add, I'd appreciate it. I'm trying to
figure out who the parents are of this William FIELDS - or at least his
siblings.

and died Bet. 1860 - 1864. He married (2) NANCY ELIZABETH LOWELL August
17, 1864 in Probably Washington County, GA. She was born Bet. 1830 -
1840 in Sandersville, Georgia, and died Bef. 1880.

In the 1880 Baldwin County Census (Salem/115th MD) Miley/Wiley Fields, b
ca 1872, 08 years old, William (b 1866 14YO) and Nathan (b ca 1868 12
YO) are listed as the son of Nancy Fields.

Next door to this household is Thomas M. Davis (22YO b ca 1858) with
wife "Mollie" (19YO b ca 1861). This is probably Mollie Fields daughter
of William and Elizabeth Fields. They have one child: Lizzie born in May
of 1880.

In the 1880 Baldwin County Census (Salem/115th MD) .
Nancy Fields is listed as the head of house with 2 other "sons" -
William (b 1866 14YO) and Nathan (b ca 1868 12 YO). I believe that at
the very least William and Nathan are the sons of William and Elizabeth.
William and Elizabeth are not on the census in 1880. They probably died
and the children are under the guardianship of Nancy Fields - maybe an
aunt. However, Wiley/Miley may belong to Nancy. If Elizabeth's son, she
would have been more than 50YO at the time of his birth. I haven't found
Wiley/Miley in the 1900 or later census.

Next door to the household of Nancy Fields, containing William (b 1866
14YO) and Nathan (b ca 1868 12 YO), who I believe are the sons of
William and Elizabeth Fields, is Thomas M. Davis (22YO b ca 1858) with
wife "Mollie" (19YO b ca 1861). This is probably Mollie Fields daughter
of William and Elizabeth Fields. They have one child: Lizzie born in May
of 1880.
