Ansel Bailey and Rutha Mae (Tipton) were born in Yancy Co. NC but moved
to Fannin Co, GA. They had children named
Eliza Jane born 11-27-1846 (my ancient one) who married William S.
Stanley, Sarah born about 1864, Garrett F. born about 1866,
William Tucumseh Sherman, born about 1869, and Josephine born about
1870. Any info on any of these children would be
helpful. Thanks.
