HI all,

My husband would like to become a member of the SAR, (Sons of the American
Revolution). Every generation must be proven back to the
Patriot. In my husband's case, I am needing to make the parentage
connection between

Jacob Whisenant b abt 1775 in NC (in 1840 Frankin Co census) married
Elizabeth ?
and his son, Joseph Henry Whisenant b. 12/18/1813-Franklin Co., GA - who
married Permelia Collins in Franklin Co., GA in 1836.

The information I have is that Jacob Whisenant died after 1860 in Stephens
Ga and is buried in Ebenezer Cem. I have been unable to find Jacob after
the 1840 census. Would anybody have access to the tombstone inscriptions of
the Ebenezer Cem.? I do not know what County "Ebenezer Cemetery" is located.
I am looking for information on both Jacob Whisenant b abt 1775 to Elizabeth
and his son
Joseph Henry Whisenant b 12/18/1813 Franklin Co GA - died 2/11/1895-TX
married Permelia Arinda Collins b 7/29/1818 Habersham Co.,

If anybody would have any lookups that would show these folks, I would
sincerely appreciate hearing from you. I would be more than glad to pay
for copies/postage, etc.

Sincerely,
Lauva Currier
Seguin, TX
