Can anyone tell me how to get a copy of and obit from the 1980's or 1990's
for someone who died in Atlanta? I have tried the site for Random Acts of
Genealogical Kindness but there is no one listed there. I am looking for
an obit for Ruby Ella Painter Marks who was born in 1934 and died probably
in the 1990's in Atlanta, but don't have a date. Also, Francis Marks III
who died Dec 1986 Atlanta, who I believe is her son.
I will gladly pay for any expenses. Is there an index in a library or
anywhere of obits from the Atlanta newspaper for that time period? What
newspaper would the obits most likely be in?
Any help appreciated.
