Mrs. M. C. Whitfield

It is with a sad heart that we chronicle the death of Mrs. M. C. Whitfield,
which occurred at her son Judge Bolling Whitfield in Brunswick, the 14th inst.
Mrs. W. had lived in our county many years and none knew her, but to love her.
She was a pure and devout christian mother, and has left us a life of Christian
fortitude worthy of our inimation. We tender our condolence to her surviving
children in their great bereavement.
