I am a new subscriber to this list. I am looking for Nathan Atkinson
and his wife, Polly Parker of Greene County and their son, James
Atkinson and his wife, Elizabeth Landrum.

Nathan Atkinson married Polly Parker in Greene County on May 28, 1813.

James Atkinson married Elizabeth Landrum in Oglethorpe County on October
8, 1845. Elizabeth and the Landrums were residents of Oglethorpe
County.

In 1850, all four are found in the Census of Greene County as follows:

3 139 139 ATKINSON JAMES 36 M GA
4 139 139 ATKINSON ELIZABETH 23 F GA

7 139 139 ATKINSON MARY 26 F GA
8 139 139 ATKINSON HENRY 14 M GA

Next door is:

9 140 140 ATKINSON ISAAC P 21 M GA
10 140 140 ATKINSON MARY R 28 F GA
11 140 140 ATKINSON NAOMI 1 F GA

This is Isaac Parker Atkinson who married Mary Rogers Moore on August
24, 1847 in Greene County. (It would seem most likely that this is
Nathan's and Polly's son.)

I have been communicating with another Atkinson researcher who has a
group of Nathan
Atkinsons in her line who are also in Greene County, but none of hers
appears to be "my" Nathan.

Any help would be appreciated.
