BENJAMIN MOONEY PASSES TO THE BEYOND
Mr. Benjamin Mooney, age 81 years, 4 months and 9 days, died at his home
near the Gainesville Cotton Mill on December 8th and was buried at Pleasant
Hill Baptist Church on Friday the 9th. Mr. Mooney was a member of the Baptist
Church and a Confederate Soldier.
He leaves a wife and four children and a host of friends and relatives to
mourn his death.
The funeral was preached by Rev. J. M. Sheffield who has been his pastor for
twelve years. Newton Ward Company in charge.
