I am looking for the parents and place of birth for Jonathan Mackey born 1773 in South Carolina and Died in Henry County, Georgia where he left a will naming his son William Land Mackey, son Jason L. Mackey, Daughter Carolyn Weems wife of Thomas Dixon Weems and daughter Mary F. Gresham.

The son William L.Mackey was in Fairfield County, South Carolina where he married Jane Cloud the d/o Joseph.

Jonathan Mackey was on the 1830, 1840 and 1850 census of Henry County, Ga, in 1850 he was listed as blind.

William L. Mackey and Mary Cloud's daughter Alice Jane married Henry Holliday and their son was John Henry " Doc " Holliday.
Doc Holliday while living in Denver, Col went by the name of Thomas Mackey.

My wife descends from Thomas Dixon weems and Carolyn Mackey.
