I am William Hutchinson and my connection to the world of GAINES is my
wife's line.
This is what I have from the oral family history. Can anybody out there help
with support or ideas?

VA.

ALFRED married Ann Davis SPRAGUE. Ann was born in Augusta Maine.
They had the following children:

3 M ii. Franklin GAINES was born 1838 in Illinios.
4 M iii. John H. GAINES was born 1841 in Illinios.
5 M iv. Samuel B. GAINES was born 1846 in Clinton Dewitt C.
6 F v. Martha A. GAINES was born 1848 in Clinton Dewitt C.
7 M vi. John W. GAINES was born 1849 in Clinton Dewitt C.
8 F vii. Mary Jane GAINES was born 2 Apr 1851 in Clinton
Dewitt C.
She died 14 Mar 1915 in Claflin Barton C.
BIRTH: Information from Marcella Mary Bowler.
Mary married (1) George Maxon O'BLENESS, son of Charles William
O'BLENESS and Mary Jane SMITH, on 19 Sep 1878 in Claflin Barton
C. George was born 27 Apr 1853 in Marietta Washing. He died 7 Mar
1928 in Topeka KS.
Member of Shriners and Masons Temples
Mary also married (2) George Maxon O'BLENESS, son of Charles
William O'BLENESS and Mary Jane SMITH, on 19 Sep 1878 in Claflin
Barton C. George was born 27 Apr 1853 in Marietta Washing. He
died 7 Mar 1928 in Topeka KS.
