Maybe I should say that my Grandmother's father
was Charles Wilburn Gainey.

I don't know a lot of the people there in DeFuniak..my
Grandmother would go and visit them when I was young.
Another of her half brothers was called 'Coon'.
Two of his sons were Corbin and JW, daughters Beatrice and
Bertice..I don't remember if there were more.

Yes Linda my husband's family is from that area and also geneva county, Al
area.
Do you know Betty, Shirley, Jimmy, Billie, George and oh yes Durley Gainey?
Durley was married to a Cuthriell.
