Tim, I am a descendant of Ryalses that were born in Sampson County,N.C. and moved to Laurens County,Georgia then to Russell County,Al.I have a Sophia in my research papers. My Ryals are African-Americans and we have a large family re-union every two years in Eufaula,Al. Let me hear from you. I have a picture of James Ryals who was born in N,C, in 1818. Moses
