My GOLLIHERS came into MO around 1855 with the arrival of Charles GOLLIHER
into Putnam County. (WAY north of Carthage!) He had several children
including: Penelope, Enoch, Calvin, Martha, Betsey, Nellie, Margaret, Mary,
Paul, Richard, Ellen and possible others. He was married three times and
lived, according to his obit, to 125 years old. I have yet to find ANY
connection to any of his children other than my gr-gr grandmother, Elizabeth
(possibly known as Betsey). Many of her in-law relatives relocated to the
southern part of Missouri and I have been wondering if the same was true for
her brothers and sisters.

By the way, Carthage is home to the Precious Moments Chapel and is within
driving distance of Branson, just for location's sake.! Hope all American
list members had a very HAPPY Thanksgiving!
