I have recently discovered on funeral home records for my great-grandfather
that his parents were J. V. Brewer of TN and Dora Gallagher (or Gallegher)
of AL. Their son John Thomas Brewer (born 1881) married Mossie Miller around
1900.

I don't know if J V and Dora lived in TN or AL; I do know that John and
Mossie were living in Dayton TN in 1901 when my grandmother was born. Mossie
died in 1903. John eventually moved to AL (Morgan Co. then Jefferson Co.
where he died in 1934).

Is anyone else researching this Gallagher family or know of any Gallaghers
in north Alabama during that time period?
