Just a longshot, but since you mentioned you had a Patrick Gallagher in
Massachusetts.....
My grandparents, Neil P. Gallagher and Bella Bridget Gallagher lived in
Quincy Mass. My grandfather had two brothers that came to the states with
him, Patrick and Murray. (Not sure of spelling, may be Murry or some other
spelling). All three brothers settled in New England. In your research,
have you come across any other Patrick Gallaghers that seem to match up with
this info.
(I believe there were 3 or 4 other brothers who never came to the states and
all died in W.W.I.)
