I talked to my mother today and she verified that Julia
Brogan was her friend and was from Carracanada. They
went to school together, so they must be the same age.
My mother said she lived south of Swinford off the
Kilkelly Rd. My mother lived the same way except that
her road was the road that "went west through the
village to the Kiltimagh Rd.". Julia Brogan lived
farther south on the Kilkelly Rd. and then you headed
west. The road where Julia lived dead ended. My mother
didn't know Julia's parents or siblings names.
I may have a picture of Julia that I will send you
off list.
I hope that you can understand the above directions
and that some of this information helped. If you have
Map 32 of the Discover Series Ordance Survey of Ireland
you should be able to find it.
