I find this interesting cause my grandfather was John Gallagher married to
Mary Meany! My grandfather was born in Cloghan Donegal in 1891 though, but
my grandmother was from Ballyvalden (now Clifden) Kilkenny. She was born in
1888 and her mother was Eliza Meany, Meany was also her maiden name. At the
address below there are photos of the area including my great uncle Thomas
Meany.

Mary's siblings were James, Ellen, Dennis, John, Margaret, Michael, Thomas.
