I was born in Flat River (present day Park Hills ) in 1922 and now live in
Sullivan, MO. My father Lawrence had returned to the Flat River area from
Cripple Creek CO. in 1910. His father John was born in Irondale, MO just a
few miles away. When I was a teen ager we had another family of Gallaghers
(no kin) living behind us and I think the grandfather's name was George. The
only living relative that I know of in the area Is Tillman Gallagher who
lives in Farmington and would be 87 or 88 years old.
