Those Lambs must be a relation to ours. Our Nathan Lamb married Mary Dunn
in NC July 1789 and her parents were Joseph and Ruth. Dunn. They were
Quakers. You will find a great number of Quakers who when they left NC they
changed their religion. A lot became Methodist. Our later Lambs lived where
the Gallahers lived at Antioch, Madison Co., NC which had been Buncombe Co.
My daughter in law is a desc. of James and Sarah Gallaher who left Pa. in
1780's for Washington Co., Tn. Their son George was married in Jefferson
Co., Tn. by the same man who married many years later James Gallaher the
proven brother of our Susan Gallaher Lawson. I feel from the records that
our group had to be closely related but not of the James who left Pa.
1780's. Susan had siblings that came into Roane Co., Tn. where Georges sons
went.

a book on Gallaher's, if you run across anymore names, I can look in the
book and see if they may be there. We also have Lamb's in our tree. We
have an Ellen Armina Lamb born in Kansas in 1878. Her father was William
Josiah Lamb. He married a Catherine Dunn. Ellen Lamb married Enos Francis
McCollum, her 2nd husband was George Follett. Does any of that sound
familiar?
