A Nuisance

Baseball in Buena Vista has become a nuisance, and we hope the council will
enact an ordinance prohibiting any games played within the incorporation. The
white boys have about given it up, but the Negroes play all day long when they
should be at something more profitable. Even on the afternoon that Dr. Baker
was buried they were yelling like a lot of hyenas. It is a nuisance and the
town council should allow no games, either white or colored, within the
incorporation.
