Columbus, GA. January 14,1921-----November 7,2006
Mary Perdue Jones, age 85, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 7,2006 at
Columbus Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday November 11,2006 at the
Striffler-Hamby Chapel in Columbus. A short graveside service will immediately
follow at Parkhill Cemetery. Pastor Steve Dumas of Waldrop Memorial Baptist
Church will Officiate.

Mrs Jones was born January 14, 1921 in Buena Vista, GA. daughter of the late
LeLand and Susie Perdue. She then grew up in what was then rural Muscogee
County, attended Wynnton School, Columbus High School,and collage at Valdosta
State.

During WWII era, she met and married the love of her life, Lee O. Jones, Jr.
who passed away in 1999.
Survivors includes her son, Robert P. [BOB] Jones of Cataula, GA; two
grandsons, Michael P Jones and Stuart S. Jones, both of Columbus, GA. and one
great grandson, Jakob DOuglas Jones; Numereous cousins,other relkatives and
friends.
