My earliest ancestor James Gamble reportedly was born in Scotland and of
Scots-Irish descent. I am seeking information on his point of entry as well
as date of birth, parents, siblings. He first appears on 1790 census in
Guilford County, NC and in marriage records to Hannah Coe same year. He died
1819 in Guilford County, NC. Your James born 1764 would be about the right
age, do you have any more details on him?
