Hello,

I received your recent notes and must say if we men were as diligent as you
ladies we would all have details of our ancestry. I understand
my orginal family names could have been, Gamble, Gambrell, Gambel, or
Gambill.

I am William Earl Gamble, born in Florence Alabama 77 years of age. My
father Paul L Gamble died at 93 was born in Florence son of James Dudley
Gamble and Roxy Wesson Gamble. My grandfathers family moved from Tennessee
to Alabama sometime in the late 1800's or eary 1900's. I was told his
father, who lived in Tennesses, had a large number of sons and.that one of
them killed him and that after his death my Great Grandmother moved her
family to Alabama, I don't know her name, but once my father showed me a
picture of an American Indian Lady and told me that was my Great
Grandmother.

Bill Gamble
Concord, NC 2807
