Hi there -
There might be a connection to my Gamble line --- my gggrandfather,
John GAMBLE b 1816 in N. Ireland - m. Annjane PORTER b 1819 - Ireland
--- they emigrated to Canada via Belfast c 1842.
Farmed in Ontario, Canada -- they had 6 children - the eldest, Esther
was born in Ireland, the others in Ontario.
I am pretty sure that the line was originally from Scotland & moved to
Ireland in the 1600's --- as the line moves down, the intermarriage
with MANN and TATE (also originated in Scotland/Ireland)
Do you see any connections?
