I am new at researching family lines and have traced my paternal line back to John Newton Gambrell (1755-1834) who was married to Barbara Bruton. I have seen several posts where these names were mentioned.

If anyone has any information on John and Barbara's parents/grandparents etc. and would like to share please contact me. I would love to be able to trace my line back to pre-america, but am unsure where to start.
