Thanks for the details. Some information I am looking for is the family of Jane (Adams) Smith. I have found no record of her parents in Warren or McDufffie Cos.

Also, when I was visiting Thomson 2 years ago I looked for the Moses Smith farm and Cemetery but could not find it. The problem being identification of the Old Warrenton Road. I asked a number of local people and they could not help me.
All I know is that the homestead was supposedly just south of the GA RR tracks.
