Fran & all others-

I should explain what is...it is a mailing list for
all researchers of Mitchell County, Ga. When a person emails the list
() it comes to every member of the list...that's about
20 people right now. On one of my Mississippi list there are 95 people & it
is always busy (the email). When a person hits reply to reply to a letter
someone sends out then the reply will also go to the entire list (this is what
you think is a bounce Fran but it's a reply...you just have to scroll down in
the email to see the response).

The reason we have these mailing list is so that us researchers can help
eachother out. I also send all the new inquiries I get per week to the
Mitchell County site through on Sundays (or sometimes other days if I'm
behind) so that you all don't have to keep running back & forth to the
Mitchell Co site to see who is researching who.

Any time you guys want to send a question through the list about your
ancestors or a general question about Mitchell County (like where a certain
cemetery is or such) just send it to . If you have
questions for me then you send them to . When you see an email
you want to respond to then send it to either the person who is inquiring
(especially if it is under New Queries) or send it to the list at GAMITCHE-
L@rootsweb.com.

As far as a newsletter...I don't have one. This mailing sort of works like a
newsletter except we all are able to send whatever we need to send through it.
I suggest everyone send an email through the list letting everyone else know
who they are researching in Mitchell County about once a month as new members
join all the time & you might miss a cousin by not sending your lines
through:-)
