I am not a Snipes researcher, but, did come across some data.

SNIPES George married WARD Maggie 17 Dec 1896 in Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES L. R. THOMAS Della 27 Feb 1890 in Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES Oscar HOWELL Sallie 17 May 1880 in Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES Adelaid HOWELL Harmon 04 Feb 1875 Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES Anna F. HOWELL Jackson 07 Jan 1880 in Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES Catharine HOWELL Thomas (Dr) 29 Feb 1896 in Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES Katie HOWELL Daniel W. 15 Dec 1895 Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES L. L. WARD J. M. 15 May 1889 Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES Laura TEDSLEY William 12 Feb 1884 in Mitchell Co., GA.
SNIPES Willie JONES Henry C. 23 Nov 1896 Mitchell Co., GA
I don't know how these are connected of if they are.


GEORGE W. SNIPES married RUBIE CLYDE JORDAN, daughter of John Wright Jordan
and Gertrude "Gertie" Ester Rentz. Rubie was born January 6, 1895 and died
February 18, 1929. I believe Rubie Jordan Snipes is buried in Mt. Ebel
Cemetery, Mitchell Co., GA.

Children of George and Rubie Jordan Snipes:
1. Ruie Snipes (male) b. Abt. 1916 d. Jul 8, 1935 Ruie was never married.
2. Roy Snipes b. Jul 23, 1921 d. Jul. 2, 1963
Roy married Lucille Rich d/o Jesse Leonard Rich and Bessie Hamrick? They
lived several years in Thomasville, Thomas Co., GA. Lucille died in Grady
Co., GA.
Their children:
Jimmy Hollis Snipes b c 1942 d.1994 buried Laurel Hill Cemetery in
Thomasville, Ga. with his wife. Jimmy had not children.
Roger Snipes m. Sue (I believe he may be deceased now too.)
Randall Snipes m. Brenda
David Snipes
3. Ruby Doris Snipes m. George Sapp
4. Oscar Hollis Snipes d. Feb 19, 1984
Oscar Hollis m. Mildred Scarbrough. Their children:
Walter Ronald Snipes
Donald Milton Snipes m. Susan
