We would really like to get the Porterville Cemetery (Afri-Amer) on-line.

I'm told that the record for this is kept
in the office building at Riverdale ---which is located
right across from Porterdale .

I also understand that these records are in very fragile condition.

Is there any chance that someone on this list might be able to make a visit
to the Office and begin transcribing these names... I think they began in
1878....so that would be some wonderful items.....

Maybe these have been microfilmed? Does anyone know about this??

We'd like to build a team of people to work on this..... let me hear from
you, if you're interested...
