Margaret: The LDS here in New York has a 'Fiche' , the
number- # 6093380, that has the following.

Tillinghast, Oliver, of Girard, Alabama. (buried) Sept 8, 1865.
Newspaper notice- Sept 12,1865.
These 'Fiche's' can be ordered for about 35cents.

This has something to do with Columbus, Georgia. that's where he is buried, in a City owned Cemetary. No age or anything else. I'm keeping my7 eyes peeled for you. Regards, Elton
