MRS. ROSA A. WILLIS

Mrs. Rosa ADAMS WILLIS, 62, 1715 Seventeenth St.,
widow of Charles C. Willis, died Tuesday, at 3:45 pm at
City Hospital following a long illness

Funeral will be held at 4:30 pm Wednesday at Striffler Mortuary
Chapel. The Rev. J. Alton DAVIS, pastor of the East Highlands
Methodist Church, will conduct the service. Burial will be in
Riverdale Cemetery.

Mrs. Willis was born April 4, 1888, in Columbus, a daughter of
the late Columbus C. and Julia V. ELDER Adams. She had lived
here all her life and was a member of the East Highlands Church
and active in it's work until her health failed.

Surviving are two sister, Mrs. Tyna Adams GREER and
Mrs. Annette Adams BRINKLEY, Columbus; three nephews,
Almond BRINKLEY, Columbus, Cullen ADAMS, Decatur and Mason ADAMS,
Jacksonville and several great-nieces and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Asa WYNN, W. J. WYNN, Joe BRINKLEY,
Jesse WATSON, T. B. WILLIS and Harvey FULLER.

Stewards of the Midway Methodist Church will be honorary
pallbearers.
