Can't help with the GRIFFIN's, but maybe someone has some info or at least a clue.
A gentleman by the name of Daniel Bellware has a site entitled "Last Battle of the Civil War." There is a current picture of the Mott House and much more.

I'm searching for the burial place of Daniel Griffin who died in Columbus, GA on August 14, 1866. The obit in the newspaper stated his remains were taken to the Muscogee Railroad Depot (he was President of the railroad at the time of his death). I also would like to know the burial place for his daughters and sons; Daniel Mulvell Griffin, Anna H. Griffin, Mary Theresa Griffin and Gerald (or Jeral) Griffin.
Also, does anyone have a picture of the Mott House (Daniel Griffin sold his house to Mr. Mott)?
Any help would be appreciated.
