Walworth, Lilia

Lilia Walworth January 3, 2007 COLUMBUS, GA— Lilia Walworth, 84, Hallstead, PA,
and formerly of Columbus, GA, passed away January 3, 2007, in Johnson City, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband Sgt. Major Raymond W. Walworth on July 11,
1977. Lilia is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard W. and Margaret
Walworth, Hallstead; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Nichols, New Milford, PA and
Marge Walworth, Hallstead, PA; one grandchild, Lisa Beeman and husband
Christopher; and many special care-giving friends including Irene Harris,
Virginia Glaser and the late Louis Glaser, Faina and Lev Shandalov, and Helena
and Piotr Pietrzynski. Lilia attended the University of Vienna, Austria in 1945
and the University of Salzburg, Austria in 1947. A memorial service will be
held at Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, 5 Susquehanna Avenue, Hallstead, PA,
Saturday, January 6, 2007, at 12 noon, with Pastor Dan Walton officiating.
Interment will be in Fort Benning, GA. The family will receive callers at the
funeral home on Saturday from 11 am until the start of the service.
