Wright family came from VA to Greene Co., GA to Newton Co. by 1850 census.
Robert Wright Jr. (1785-1864) md. Margaret "Peggy" Bledsoe (1785-1831), daughter of Aaron Bledsoe and Mary Brockman.
Christopher Columbus Wright (1812-1891) md. Rebecca Billingslea Moore (1822-1906),daughter of Burnette Russell Moore and Rebecca Billinslea.
John Sharp Wright (1855-1907) md. Althea White (1858-1935), daughter of Hugh White of Ireland (more on this line in next post) and Alice Hardeman.

Siblings of Christopher Columbus Wright: Elvira Adeline md. James Sams, Moriah Melvina, Julia Amanda md. Henry Lansford Brittain, Mary Ann md. Wilson Lumpkin Davis, Elizabeth, Robert "Franklin" md. Salina Frances Robinson, Telitha md. Augustus James Webb.
