Hi gang,
Just wondered if anyone ever stumbled across a lost NJ Gant.
Jeremiah V. Gant was born abt. 1812 in NJ. He was a carpenter and
resided in Freehold, Monmouth County, NJ until April 1, 1867 when he
sold his property to William R. Conover. I have been unable to find
Jeremiah or any of his family in any census records after that, so it's
possible that they moved out of state.
Here's what I know.......
Jeremiah V. Gant, born abt. 1812 (possibly the son of John and Jane
Miller Gant of Howell, Monmouth Co., NJ) He married Louisa "Unknown",
who was born abt. 1828. Their known children were: 1. John H. Gant -
born abt. 1847. 2. Sarah E. Gant - born abt. 1850. 3. John (?) Gant -
born abt. 1853. 4. Mary E. Gant - born April 18, 1856 at Freehold. 5.
Albert Gant - born abt. 1858. 6. Richard Gant (twin) - born June 1860
at Freehold. 7. David Gant (twin) - born June 1860 at Freehold.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
