I am new to the list, and I'd like to ask everyone if they have come across
the name of Nutt. I'm searching for the William Nutt family which belonged
to the Mars Hill Baptist Church of Oconee when it was formed June 1, 1799. I
believe the Nutt family lived in Oconee and/or Clarke county - when was the
county split? Anyway, what I know of the WIlliam Nutt family is as follows:
he was married to a Jane ___(?), and their children were:
Agnes Nutt m William Miles
John Nutt m Polly East
Archibald Nutt m Mary Cardon
William Nutt m Mariah Gaithright
Sarah Nutt m Isaac Sparks
Catherine Nutt m Ruben McKelroy
Anything anyone knows about this family would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
