My ggggrandfather was Gibson Martin who lived in Oglethorpe Co and
married Sally Buckley cl800. His son John Martin also lived in
Oglethorpe Co and married Nancy Simms cl830. His daughter Ann Eliza
Martin married John Garland Mayne Edwards in Oglethorpe Co c l850. The
Martins are buried in the Martin family cemetery in Oglethorpe Co. The
Edwards are buried in the Oconee cemetery in Athens.
